Open Call for Artistic Director AKA “Lover”

The organization is nomadic, hosting an array of programming including workshops, performances, facilitated talks, collective practices & a summer festival in various spaces across the city. The Lovers are currently looking to expand their core team, prioritizing applications from equity-seeking groups, including those who identify as: Indigenous, Black, People of Colour, Trans, Nonbinary, Queer, Disabled and intersections of those identities.

We abide by simple principles; to respect one another and to always be open to new ideas. The style and flow of work is shaped by the people who make up the team and the ways in which they feel comfortable working together. We are a company collaborator at Generator, providing us with excellent external resources, workshops, networking opportunities, and one-on-one coaching sessions. We are additionally governed by a board of directors.
