Position: Finance and Outreach Manager
Contract
Start Date: January 24th, 2022
Term: 7 months to start with possibility of extension
Payment: $25/hr
10 hours per week (to start) and extended hours during peak working season (May - July)

Reporting to: Lovers (Artistic Directors)
Working alongside: Social Media and Communications Manager, Bookkeeper
Summary: Supporting the organization’s ongoing financial stability, revenue, expenses, grant writing, fundraising, accessibility, and outreach initiatives
Location
Remote working as well as at our office. Our office is located at The Railpath Arts Centre 35 Golden Avenue Suite 109, Toronto, ON. The building is located on the ground floor, has an accessible washroom and automated doors.
Schedule
Flexible with team meetings on weekday mornings/afternoons, virtual and in-person
Responsibilities
- Work alongside Lovers/Artistic Directors in supporting the growth of the organization
- Weekly payments management and updating of Revenue/Expense tracker
- Spearhead financial initiative, fundraising campaigns, and sponsorships
- Proactively establish calendar and timeline for all aspects of fiscal year
- Manage, co-ordinate, extend, and nourish our current and future partnerships through outreach efforts
- Budget management, proposals, and upkeep in high collaboration with Artistic Directors
- Reconcile payments and registration for ticketing, events, and sales
- Attend monthly all-team meetings
- Potential to add responsibilities depending on interest during the Summer Festival
- Act as a representative of The Love-In
Requirements
- Capacity to work autonomously and efficiently
- Experience with finance management from an arts organizational perspective (experience in other sectors viable)
- Excellent time management, written communication, planning, and execution skills
- Experience with grant and report writing an asset
- Experience with events and ticketing an asset
- Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reporting
- Access to personal mobile device, wifi, and computer

Application and Hiring Process
All applications will be reviewed by the Toronto Dance Community Love-In Artistic Directors/Lovers. A short list will be compiled and that short list will be contacted for an interview. The interview process will take place with Co-Artistic Directors via Zoom.

- Artistic directors are available for 1-1 information sessions via zoom or phone in 15-30 minute time slots, at your request, from Tuesday-Friday 10 - 4pm from December 6th - 18th, 2021
