Current Lovers (AKA Co-Artistic Directors)

Ann Trépanier (Lover since 2018) is a Tkaronto based dance artist, maker, unstoppable laugher, cyclist, climber and currently dedicating a lot of her time expanding her knowledge and involvement in urban farming to connect and support different communities outside her art family. Ann is driven by curiosity. Joining the Love-In, she was eager to reflect her dedication on training locally and internationally with the Love-In. She quickly realized that her role in the organization was greater than expected; it gave her the opportunity to have insights and weight on both sides of what shapes a community.

Camille Rojas (Lover since 2020) is a multidisciplinary artist working with film, photography and dance. She enjoys eating Oysters (with extra hot sauce) listening to Prince (she will talk your ear off on the significance of his music) and riding her bike everywhere (especially along dedicated bike paths). She has recently acquired a collection of plants and now considers herself an official “green-thumb”. On working with the Love-In, she especially enjoys the inclusive aspect of all movers as she believes dance and movement is for everybody to enjoy at their own capacity.

Lauren Runions (Lover since 2020) is a dance artist, facilitator, urbaner and artistic director of I/O Movement. They are an avid cyclist and percussion enthusiast! Lauren loves learning about natural and urban ecologies, tales of rivers, and dynamics of place. Their time participating and working with the Love-In has inspired them to focus on fostering community-based art projects.

Leelee Oluwastoyosi Eko Davis’ (Lover since 2021) practice is rooted in foundations of contemporary dance and intermedia creation methodologies. As a disabled, transgenderqueer artist of Nigerian/French/Algonquin descent, working in decolonial frameworks is central to their research and creations. Being from Treaty 1 Territory, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Leelee has had the opportunity to train and work professionally across Turtle Island. Their artistic goals are to merge performance and life, stage and experience, building a bridge to revealing the human condition. They can most commonly be found producing their own work as a solo artist, however often collaborate across milieus. Leelee has had the profound pleasure of collaborating with artists and choreographers such as Jolene Bailie, Dayna Danger, Raven Davis, Jesse Dell, Yannick Desranleau, Vanessa Dunn, Audrey Dwyer, Reginald Edmund, Gambletron, Chloe Lum, Ryan MacNamara, Kate Nankervis, Evalyn Parry, Sara Porter, Lou Sheppard, Alexandra Tigchelaar on works for theatre, film, and stage. Eko Davis also works as a program designer, facilitator, and consultant in the field of Social Innovation and Adaptive Change.

Oriana Pagnotta (Lover since 2018) is a dance artist making Toronto her home. Formerly based in Calgary, she choreographs, performs, teaches, and produces, with a passion for facilitating somatic practice. Her choreography has been presented with Dancers’ Studio West, W&M Dance SURGE Co., and Springboard Performance’s Fluid Festival. She is rehearsal director with Gerry Trentham (lbs/sq” performance) and has also directed with Milan Kozanek, Iris Heitzinger, and Tania Alvarado. Oriana was Artistic Director for Dance Montage, and Artistic Associate with both W&M Dance Projects and Momo Mixed Ability Dance Theatre. She holds a B.A. with Distinction in Dance (University of Calgary) and is a certified DanceAbility International teacher. Oriana’s current Love-In focus is supporting programming planning, communications, and collaborative processes.

Shelby Wright (Lover since 2018) is a dancer and choreographer based in Toronto. She is an auntie of two little beauty kids, and feels immensely supported by her friends, partner and family. Shelby has enormous respect for the folks that came before her at the Toronto Dance Community Love-In. Finding her place in Toronto was challenging until she was warmly embraced by the Love-In. What is the Love-In? It’s a place where you feel love and support and friendship and encouragement and find possibility and new ideas and experimentation and collaboration and and AND!
