Robyn Breen has been a co-artistic director (aka LOVER) with the Toronto Dance Community Love-In since 2014.

Since her time as a student in the York University BFA (Honours) Dance program (grad. 2010), she has been forming collectives and producing dance. First, through NewFoundDance, Robyn produced mainstage performances in both St. John’s, NL and Toronto, ON between 2008 and 2012. She later created The Movement Market, a party style performance series set in Toronto’s MISFITSTUDIO. Robyn has been involved with Neighbourhood Dance Works in St. John’s, NL, as an intern to the festival director for the Festival of New Dance in both 2011 and 2012.

As an artist, her work has been presented at SummerWorks Performance Festival in Toronto, To Love-In’s PS: We Are All Here 2017, and she has performed choreography by Jo Leslie in both the Festival of New Dance (St. John’s) and Atlantic Dance Festival danse atlantique (Moncton).

Born and raised in St. John’s, Nfld., dancer, teacher, producer and choreographer, Tina, lives and works in Toronto where she has been based since 1999.  As a performer, she has collaborated and originated roles in the works of numerous choreographers including Susie Burpee, Valerie Calam, Jesse Dell, Kate Franklin, Luke Garwood, Ame Henderson, Brendan Jensen, Sebastian Mena, Matjash Mrozewski, Darryl Tracy, among others.

Her work has been presented across Ontario and the country, including performances in Porch View Dances, Hub 14, Hysteria: Festival of Women, The Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival, Festival of New Dance, Dance made in Canada, Nuit Blanche and SummerWorks.

Most recently Tina joined the TO Love-In as co-artistic director, is one of 25 dancers working with Christopher House and Anne Troake as part of the NL Dance Project and is a current recipient of the Metcalf Foundation performing arts internship working with Laura Nanni at SummerWorks.

An active producer, Tina was Co-Artistic Director of Ambitious Enterprises (AE) with Kate Franklin from 2002 to 2012; together they produced the “At the Wrecking Ball” series which provided opportunities for emerging choreographic talents and their collaborators from various disciplines. In the last few years Tina curated a work-in-progress series called “For Show” and is co-curating PS: We are All Here along with Kate Nankervis and Robyn Breen.

When not creating and performing in dance works, Ms Fushell invests in the next generation of dancers through her work George Brown College.

Kate is a Toronto based dance artist, performer and producer.

She has worked with Toronto Dance Community Love-In since 2010, is a creator/co-curator of Toronto’s experimental contemporary dance series PS: We Are All Here.

She has held a co-Artistic Director position at hub14 art + performance works (2013-2017), a studio space for performance with a focus on research and residencies.

She is a recipient of Ontario Arts Council’s Chalmers Fellowship, her research on creating innovative spaces for performance, artists and audiences.
