About the Workshop

This is a workshop for choreographers, artists and theatre practitioners interested in learning about lighting design. The goal is to demystify stage lighting techniques and to experiment with them, focusing on the lighting designer’s process. Terminology and basic concepts will be covered. Participants will be asked to create a short lighting project related to their field of work. Through a series of hands-on activities, participants will further understand what lighting can do for the performing arts.
